We did pretty well with a few first-teamers and mostly kids against Chelsea's much stronger team last week. More of the same please.

If both teams supporters boycotted the charity shield enmass then either it would cease to exist or they would in future have to hold it in a neutral venue.

This year they could've played a two legged game, 1pm Saturday & 4pm Sunday and included academy and women's teams to make a festival of it.

There are enough players in both clubs to make it worthwhile and meaningful

All proceeds to Manchester charity's.

I travelled m1 last time and it was 50mph for over 20 miles + stop start ongoing.
