So many 8s and 9s all over the pitch today. Rico, Kev, Bernardo, Doku got through so much good work despite the odd wayward move, but I went for Kova, solid and on the front foot and more important for him to have a big game as Rodders wasn't there.

Savinho for me as this was his debut. Closely followed by Bernardo and Kova.

I am shocked Savinho/Bernie didn't get more votes here.

Difficult to vote for Savinho based on a half.
Bernardo is Bernardo - that's his normal game, so people have looked for a player who was (slightly) above his average and picked Kovacic the goal possibly swung it

Kova: most involved player, scored, made 6 tackles, very high pass completion.

Doku very lively but needed final ball to connect a bit more.

Savinho looked really good again; hope his injury is minor.

Lewis did well.

Doku? Thought he got into great positions but again his final ball was utter woeful

Kova for me and Rico a close second, he looked superb and very comfortable

Really enjoyed that. Wanted to give my vote to Rico Lewis but went for Kovacic for a great all round performance.
First away win without Rodri for over 2 years …

Kovacic for me, even before his goal, I thought he had a brilliant game. He had a lot of energy too. Neville must be on drugs to chose Bernardo, perhaps that's why he failed as a manager. Lewis was also pretty good, better than I thought he would be if I am honest.

As I was saying, Lewis was also pretty good, he is much stronger than last season.
Doku needs to improve his passing. Savio good, hope his injury isn't bad. I want to see more off him.

It was a toss up between Lewis and Kovavic - Lewis was slightly ahead but the goal sealed it
