Tim Howard on NBC/Peacock now half-eating his words in picking ARSE to win the league yesterday and seeing how City has just played.

He said he didn't realize how hungry City was. He simply doesn't know Pep and the team that plays for him.

Hoping City make Tim Howard look like a fool prognosticator with his half-ARSEd picks 3 years in a row as the boys go for 5 titles!

Nedum picked the arse to win the title. What was he thinking??

Very good performance overall with some particular standout great performances.
Good to get a difficult gane out the way with and come away with 3 points.
Doku is a frustrating player. Great at times and bad at others.

Hard fought win that and a tough first game. Three good points considering there were a lot of players missing or having just come back of holidays.
All of Chelsea's chances came from our sloppy passing. Kovacic was immense, why were we worried about Rodri not being available? I was impressed with Lewis and hope to see a lot more of Savinho, hopefully he will be fit for the game next week.

Good performances from Rico, Kova, Bernie and Doku & Savinho (when they switched). Some sloppy stuff at the back on occasion but match sharpness will improve on that. Was good to get the Striking Viking off the mark early doors and Kova-Klass to finish them off. No Rodri, no problem.

Savinho looked like he knew exactly how to play in a City team which is a great credit to his football intelligence. We have some exciting young players don't we?

Savinho spent last season with a CFG team so style of play won’t have been a shock.

I'd argue his fitness killed the game for Chelsea in the last 10 minutes, Doku had a brilliant last 25.

Was pretty mature in his choices wasn’t he? Moreso than Doku is and it’s his first appearance. Very sensible play from him.
