South stand should invest in cigars for arsenal game
Yeah, instead of inflatable bananas we could bring inflatable cigars.

The BBC summary of the game today:

Erling scores the first.

Jackson's goal is disallowed.

Foden comes on!

No mention of Rico's disallowed goal and, presumably, they couldn't bring themselves to mention an ex-CFC player coming back to sink 'em! They've always gone big when one of our exes sticks us for one!

LFC tried to undermine Everton’s stadium project planning process behind the scenes. Liverpool fans mock Everton but there is no reason Everton couldn’t do what City have done with the right investment.
Yeah, they need some dirty oil money. Any chance BP might come along?

To be fair, it must be irritating.
Like mentioning "Invincibles" everytime you open your mouth, or trying to portray yourself as a football hardman when everyone just remembers a lanky, error prone, average player.
But we have to give Keown a little credit when it comes to 'humility and Pep'! He did provided magnificent service whilst playing for that paragon of humility - Wenger!

Don't think Keown was that special, but he did play for Arsenal (whom he hangs onto), Everton & Villa.
But, when he tries to be over-elaborate with his punditry, he sounds like a pretentious twit...

New season. First game. Minutes in from Kelly Cates, 115 charges. Micah thicker than a whale omelette Richards using guilty and innocent terms. This legal terminology is so far entrenched it’s become fact. Nobody pointing out its 115 Premier League rule breaches. The Police are waiting for the outcome with bated breath.
Then they are all nicey nicey when Big Earl shows up for an interview

Over elaborate for him would be stringing a sentence together with a hint of a cogent argument the knuckle dragging halfwit.
