Can you catch the train to Piccadilly and walk / tram / taxi?Totally agree, I live in Burnage and it's an absolute ball-ache getting to the stadium.

If you REALLY want me to!! -:)Can you be my chaperone lol
Just checked trains for the Ipswich game, hardly any running from/to Macc just the little Northern one which will be chronically overcrowded![]()
Yes when they’re running but seems only going via Wilmslow that weekend, “alterations to platforms at Picadilly” quoted as reason. Without the London trains it’s carnage trying to get on the others. No Cross Country either.Don't all the London to Manchester trains stop there? They used to when I travelled regularly.
That’s a bugger. Been going on a few weekends by the looks of things, I had to drive to Wilmslow to get a train into Manchester a couple of weeks ago. Presumably running as normal tomorrow as I’m going to the test match.Just checked trains for the Ipswich game, hardly any running from/to Macc just the little Northern one which will be chronically overcrowded![]()
Click your chosen bus/route here and select the drop down for Saturday’s game.Does anyone know how long we have after the match to get back to the bus? It’s still not saying anything on the Bee app.
Yep and with Pride this weekend as well can see it being comically overcrowded. We’re gonna try to get in on the train with bus from Macc as back up. Coming back on the bus I thinkThat’s a bugger. Will have to rethink my plans for Saturday
Ye that’s what I mean last year it was 25/30 mins and some drivers didn’t adhere to that.Click your chosen bus/route here and select the drop down for Saturday’s game.

General rule is usually 25/30 mins after final whistle
Just looked on the Trainline, and they’re saying that the all-stop local service from Macc to Piccadilly is running direct, with no bus replacement required. Seems to be only the London and inter-city trains that are affected. The all-stops are running at 17 minutes past the hour,we’ll be on the 10.17. Likely to be very busy though,so bus might be a good back up option.Yep and with Pride this weekend as well can see it being comically overcrowded. Agree Trainline isn't a reliable sauce but on this occasion I think they are right I'm sure I read on a notice at Macc station that there's engineering works between Stoke and Macc hence the express trains are being diverted via Crewe and the northern rail ones will start from Macc instead of CreweI’ll give you a tip for train running information. Use just about any other app or website that provides schedules and real time running information.
They might well be right this time but Trainline are notorious for publishing incorrect and out of date info.
Agree about the Trainline, just about every other site was saying the same thing,so quoted them.I’ll give you a tip for train running information. Use just about any other app or website that provides schedules and real time running information.

There was no age related concessions last season on the buses.Do pensioners travel for free?
That's not correct. A FOC bus pass gave free travel and I think there are reduced prices for kids this season (they were not reduced last season). There was no age related concessions last season on the buses.
Yeah, sorry, kids were cheaper. Wasn’t the some complaining on here last season that there was no pensioner concessions? That's not correct. A FOC bus pass gave free travel and I think there are reduced prices for kids this season (they were not reduced last season).
The opposite last season. Pensioner bus pass gave free travel (I used mine) but kids were charged adult price. This season there are concessions for kids too.Yeah, sorry, kids were cheaper. Wasn’t the some complaining on here last season that there was no pensioner concessions?
