He has been good in a couple of places. At Middlesbrough he got them into Europe a few times, UEFA cup finalists and won the League Cup, the only trophy in their history.

He won the Dutch league with Twente also.

But that's going back 10-20 years. He hasn't done much elsewhere. Although in fairness to him, managers who have had absolutely no success at all still get jobs.
