Demand is way too high for tickets for concerts for a lot of artists but I’ve never heard of a Ticket Pre-Sale ballot before - they could have just sold tickets in the same way everyone else does. But then they wouldn’t have grabbed so many headlines and generated so much interest and publicity.

Folk are already getting FOMO about not hearing anything from their application to be part of the ballot lol.

Taylor Swift had one. They now know how many people want to buy a ticket so they can release more dates, which they have since done. FOMO is a thing now in the social media world we live in. There will be people at these gigs who have never seen them, don’t like that type of music and have probably also never seen Noel or Liam either. Some will have their kids with them even though the kids aren’t interested. It’s the world we live in now.

I actually saw Prodigy as a warm up before Oasis in 96 - I couldn't believe it, they bloody smashed it, they was so good, in fact after their set and when Liam and Noel walked out me and my mates who all got tickets easily booed them and left after 2 songs, they were so shit, awful. but Prodigy were amazing, much better than Oasis.
