Looking quite good at this stage!Might even go on to win something this season?…
There’s a rule: Give players new to Pep’s methods two seasons to show what they can do.I'm glad nunes didn't go after his first year at city
I think there's a really good young player in there
Really good performance today from him
Yep. If there is nobody available that improves us, hold the money until there is.If anything, we’re missing a back-up for Erling, though considering we won the League, playing with a false nine, I’m not overly concerned.
If Pep and Txiki are happy with the squad, so am I.
me - 0 goal in 69Haaland 70 goals in 69 games
‘Joined the wrong team’
It was 2 bookable fouls against him in quick succession that led up to him being substituted. Wise from Pep, because they were queuing up to kick him at that point. Almost as if their manager had told his players at HT to stop him getting forward by whatever means.First half was football porn and twas the best we've played in a long time .. second half had more match jeopardy but we dug in and won comfortably at the end ... an ominous performance without Rodders & Foden ... the brother was critical of Doku which I found rather harsh - he's still on an upward improvement trajectory for me and waz kicked off the park at times and confident that the 'end product' will come under Pep ... also a bad day for the Grealish & Eddy naysayers who were both bril on the day ... wudda ripped your arm off for 9 points after these 3 games with the bonus of Gunners dropped points today ... will.be at our next game and BUZZIN for it ... onwards and upwards ...
Very well written article![]()

What can any team do when Manchester City have such a striker in one of the world’s best-managed squads?www.theguardian.com

Almost as if he watched the game without a red shirt on, and actually enjoyed watching the beautiful game played beautifully!Very well written article
Yea that’s your problemProud to support this club. Outstanding commitment from the players. The football continues to be sheer joy to watch. I think the only weak link is Doku. Would take Bobb, Savvy or Jack all day long before Doku.
Personally, I think Erling has seen the Mbappe move to Real and realised this will be his club. So he's focused on staying here and breaking recordsWe played exceptional. Haaland motm but only just. He had a brilliant first half besides the goals. Akanji was very good too. In fact everyone was on top form except maybe Doku.
Haalands finishing has improved. He has his mind in the right place again.
Rico is really impressing me at the moment too.
Very good win.
Jamie redknapp - the harder you work the luckier you get, he must have been a right lazy bastard
He is staying behind after training to do speciality work.I agree. We never do anything with corners which is surprising with Haaland in there.
3 games without Rodders and 3 wins. Kovas been instrumental in these wins. I feel so much better about this season now. :)Very pleased with the progression of Kovacic
He is really making quick decisive decisions. A smart player who now understands Pep’s system.
