Losing Rodri obviously hurt.
Question marks for me over both their goals
Mad game. I reckon we will get a penalty from our next corner. Their first goal is completely inexcusable from Michael Oliver and I hope he gets demoted down the hierarchy as he failed on so many levels. Calls Walker half way up the pitch, turns his back on the ball, blows the whistle for the game to continue, doesn't let Walker get back in position and free kick gets taken noticeably further forward than it should have been. But he doesn't know, he wasn't looking. Second goal was less so, Walker forgot what he was supposed to be doing and we should have been stronger.

Also an epic VAR failure because nobody knows what happened in the first 2-3 seconds because the cameras were not ready. It is a case of 30 people simultaneously failing on the "You had ONE JOB!".

Sadly he has become a woeful liability
I don't think he's a liability exactly but once he's rattled mentally he shuts down and makes silly decisions.

Instead of running with Gabriel for example he wasted time with his tapping. He should have been a yard or two deeper because he knew where Gabriel had to get to to score. He gave Gabriel every advantage.

For the first goal he's only half to blame imo. A captain imo should ensure that the free kick isn't taken until everyone us ready. But Gundogan and others should know that too and stand over the ball until told otherwise.

Would take a draw and given a hypothetical choice between us losIng and Rodri not seriously injured I would take the loss.

They win they are 1 point ahead in September.

How can Oliver be so solid in Europe and so crap domestically? Ruining the game, but making it interesting at least. We have turned into proper pussycat of a team. I just don't get it how we can be 110% at the beginning of the game and then it drops to 10% in the following 15 minutes after the injury and that idiotic goal.
We are usually the team defending corners quite well and we just let them do it like Pep ant the never saw them doing their little train on the back post.

What the fuck was all the prodding and poking about by Walker before Arsenal scored from the corner.

Makes it worse the fucker he was poking beat him in the air!!!
Yeah poking him and then just letting him go absolutely shocking defending!

Walker came on against West Ham and looked like an old man, He's been poor today too. He's been an unbelievable servant for us the best right back to ever play in this league in my opinion...But I do worry about him watching him lately.

Had a doctor mate watch a replay of Rodri's injury and he believes it's most likely to be an MCL. Would be a far better prognosis than ACL since the recovery period is maybe max 2 months, so some hope at the end of the tunnel

Watching that replay, Walker is actually given more than enough time to get back, but he prioritised having a word with Trossard instead. Don’t know how long people expect the ref to give him. If he wants enough time to walk back then that’s his own fault.
Exactly. Walker switched off and was to blame for both goals.
