Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

We should have enough for most of the league it’s just the big aways will be an issue.
We have options though, I’m sure the more I watch Gvardiol the more I think he has all the tools to be a 6.
I think John Stones could prove to be great there. It's a massive blow, but, if anyone can find us a way round this, it's Pep. Glad we got one of the Arse games out of the way - Rodri hasn't even played a full league game for us this season. We've plenty of big names to step up; time for them all to deliver.

The club knew the risk not getting a real Rodri back up was dangerous most fans would say wreckless.

Gundy & Kova are good stop gaps but we shouldn’t be in the market for stop gaps.

Next issue will be not having a back up for haaland!

I trust pep to sort it

there are so many posts on twitter, and i hears even top afc ytb accounts were celebrating. i saw ONE post on twitter celebrating odegaard’s injury by a city account and he was called out on it.

i don’t believe in karma, but i hope i’m wrong.
Yeah I called it out in the Arsenal thread a couple of weeks back that no Bluemoon members were celebrating when we lost Odegaard and were showing sympathy. That was classy. To be honest usually we are classier than that as a fanbase but I think the match yesterday has created a tinderbox atmosphere. We've now got Gabriel on twitter doing a Brazilian TV interview saying Arsenal will be 'waiting at our house' for City in february with the intimation that violence will happen. It's bloody Dipper-level stuff now. Reminds me a bit of the Arsenal-Rags matches back in the day and the bad smell around those games.

Losing Rodri for the season is terrible news. I feel so bad for him. He means so much for us. Not just his play but what he brings mentally to his play and his teammates. No one plays like him. Having said that, while there is a brief time to lament this loss, its time for someone to step up. Whether its Kovacic, Nunes, Lewis, Gundogan. Someone or players need to step in and fill that space. I have every confidence that Pep is already drawing up plans on how to cover this and with who.

As far as tomorrow's game. Play Ortega, Foden, Lewis, Nunes, Grealish, McAtee and another 5 from the Academy. Don't risk Stones, KDB, Gundogan or Kovacic for a League Cup match.

Tell you what, I reckon @Ric 's yacht has been filled up nicely with all the recent traffic on here

Rodri injury

Honestly couldn't care less about the title, fucking poor Rodri, the bloke is literally on the verge of a Balon D'or and finally receiving the praise he deserves and this happens. Feel fucking awful for him. Pure thuggery yesterday to rough him up. Won't be called out though.

Get well soon Rodders, you fucking legend.

I would prefer it going forward for us to give up control and simple counter teams then sit back.

Pep will change tactics now. It’ll be interesting to see what he comes up with.

being very passive in the window, then Ake, Bobb, Rodri all injured for weeks, months, all season also KDB just right now too. I know Pep prefers smaller sized squads, to keep bench players on their toes too with some gametime but this can hit back.

if we drop a lot due to this injury by January we need to make a swift move which need to be pre-planned next 1-2 months.

We have won the title four times in a row , another one might not happen without rodders , christ knows about the cl , cups i am not bothered about , play kids for a while

You care more about the Ballon D'or than the league title?

You have no choice but to rise. What else are you going to do...let everything you have fought for slip because the big man has gone? Bollocks to that, we fight for EVERYTHING!
This is what the cheering Gooners and buzzing Rags don't get.

We have a beautiful habit of facing down adversity and finding a way. It's what we've done for years. Time to circle the wagons and "do it for Rodders" is now the mantra. This shit just galvanises the club, its players, staff and supporters

Our direct competitors (and the poxy rags) need to be careful what they wish for...because we ain't going nowhere.

If we achieve 5 in a row without the big man, we'll do fucking 10.

Up the fucking Blues.
