Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

Awful news for the team but especially for him. Thankfully ACL injuries aren't as career-threatening as they used to be so fingers crossed he'll be back to his best next year

Yeah I called it out in the Arsenal thread a couple of weeks back that no Bluemoon members were celebrating when we lost Odegaard and were showing sympathy. That was classy. To be honest usually we are classier than that as a fanbase but I think the match yesterday has created a tinderbox atmosphere. We've now got Gabriel on twitter doing a Brazilian TV interview saying Arsenal will be 'waiting at our house' for City in february with the intimation that violence will happen. It's bloody Dipper-level stuff now. Reminds me a bit of the Arsenal-Rags matches back in the day and the bad smell around those games.
You’ve also got Ian Wright on some twitter video taking Haalands playful throw of the ball at Gabriel literally and talking about retribution at the Emirates, Gabriel was a total dickhead yesterday and it’s all down to your **** of a manager Arteta.

Not even in the same universe as Rodri but anyway, he's made of glass
He’s capable mate that’s all I’m saying , we are far from a one man team , the press just love the stats that we lose games without him , he’s not played all season and we still win games, a big loss of course but we have enough of that there is no doubt

Might even make Pep sign an extension too if it gets his grey matter working in overdrive.
My thoughts exactly mate. He fucking loves a challenge. It might just galvanise him into another two years. He certainly won't want that game to be the last time he see's his main man Rodders on the pitch, which it might well be if its season ending.

Sign it Pep, win the 5th, get Rodders back fit and firing, and confirm your position as THE greatest coach the world has ever seen.

Thanks Arsenal, we owe you one.

Arteta has Partey, Rice and Jorginho. Liverpool has Endo as a back-up. At least they have someone. Our midfield is crap without Rodri, but it’s up to the club who did nothing.
How can you say "Liverpool have Endo as back-up" but our midfield is "crap"...

Hahahaha ffs

Kovacic and Gundogan both walk into any team in the league!

For what it's worth Rice, Partey and Jorginho wouldn't get near our starting 11.

I'm all for people's opinions and normally respectful of them, But to call our midfield "crap" without Rodri is complete stupidity.

We have Kovacic, Gundogan, and Stones (and Lewis) who are every bit as good as Partey, Jorginho, and Endo. Rice not even a sole number six, lol. Arsenal fans largely hate Partey and think Rice is unreliable as a lone six, which is why Jorginho and Partey constantly partner him.

Mate, you are making yourself look an utter tit posting that, our midfield is crap, FFS.
Because the reality is Begiristain did nothing to make City better. Spending money on Phillips and Nunes is ok? The problem is lack of top planning in the recent windows and the board is paying for their sins to have no plan B. EVERYBODY told it, nobody from the club has done it. The fact is we are lacking pure pragmatism in this board. We have not signed no Rodri’s and Haalands back-up and for everyone it was fine. Open your eyes.

Why have we all suddenly accepted that Rodri is out for the season without an official club statement. ? I'll prefer to wait until its official rather than hang on the words of these City hating click bait BASTARDS!
I think it’s just the weight of numbers. So many are reporting it as gospel that people are naturally inclined to think it's true.

What would you have done instead? Genuine question.

Too many saying it, including reliable journalists, for it not to be true

As standard, think the club will probably confirm it in a short press release within the next hour or two
