Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

Look at the risk of getting flamed I don't think Pep will have been happy to see Haaland stoke the fires in that way and provide extra motivation. Clearly personal rivalries are developing on the pitch (even if the managers share great mutual respect and friendship) and so I think it's safe to say matches between the 2 will from now on need to be watched from behind the sofa. Haaland seemed out of control at times and whilst no doubt City fans will love to see that, it does indicate him getting wound up and it's one thing doing that at his home stadium but he's now created a viper-pit atmosphere for the game at the Emirates. City are more than capable of handling that but why make it even tougher than it would otherwise be? It's like creating an extra trip to Anfield from a City perspective.

Likewise Arsenal's shithousery guarantees City away will from now on be even harder than it was before as the fans will be even more up for it than they were before. I'm thinking City-Madrid of a couple of years ago levels of crowd atmosphere which makes it almost mission impossible.
Tbh mate, you seem a reasonable poster so I will try to make this concise…

We don’t care about this made up fake bullshit because we haven’t in the past taken much notice of you. I hate the dips but at this point and if Rodri is out I would rather they win the league.

Going to klanfield vs going to emirates is night and day.

yesterday the city players were fed up with your cheating antics and give a bit back.

Embarrassing club.

I’m gutted for Rodri and the team. But assuming that it’s happened, I’m curious to see how Pep figures it out. And expectations for the season are so low, I’m also excited to see the boys rise to the occasion for Rodri. It’s like the slate has been wiped clean and we start again and show them who we are.

Pep won’t give two shites mate tbh , proper teams would have at least tried to attack even with ten men , it’s clear that we live in your fucking heads every day of the week , shutting up shop without one wide player on the pitch says more about captain black than anything else , he shat his pants leading a game winning 2-1 and only 5 games into the season. And I’d be more worried about your team’s discipline, its every fucking week your manager is bleating about decisions, you’re such an emotional embarrassment of a fanbase and it gets played out every single season in the league cups and European competitions, a bunch of shithouses supported by shithouses , concentrate on spurs for rivalry , at least you can play a big fish in a small pond in doing so.
4 in a row sunshine.
Brentford, last week played better than Arse, weren't afraid to come and play. They are more mentality monsters than Artetas time wasting shite house thugs.

Really sad news for Rodri, recovery well and rest up whilst you can.
Bad news for us, he is an immensely important player for us.
We are in for a difficult few months with so many players now being out.
Time for us fans to buckle up and get behind the team.
Time for you to earn your wage Pep, again!

The other thing I'll say is this was a non-contact injury thats likely in part due to excess strain on the body. Rodri has played a lot of football over the last 3 years (and particularly last season/this summer) and plenty of other players are in the same boat. I know he'd had a rest but putting so much mileage on the body means these injuries often happen as a result of cumulative strain. For sure there's too much football being played and I reckon we'll see a lot of players in top leagues getting these kinds of injuries with the amount of football they have to play.

I think we have earned the right over the last few years to not worry about what we can or can’t win without Rodri.

The club and players have nothing to prove.

Free hit now, any silverware this season will be fantastic.

If it’s not to be then it’s not to be. As I say, we have won it all and are due a down season at some point. This isn’t throwing in the towel but im not getting worked up about it if Rodri is out.

Could see Pep drop the wingers for a two up top of Kev and Haaland. Lets us have another player in midfield.

Indeed, as well as the strain on his body in the opening minutes of the game. Fuck off.

Giving Grealish 300k per week who cannot score 5 goals per season, giving Stones 250k per week and not having room for signing Rodri’s back-up. Incredible planning.
You only joined last month. Your name clearly gives away your true allegiance. It’s obvious you’re a rag - just like your user name - Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs who was the “lost” oasis member & a big fat rag.

You must think we’re stupid when all along you come on here & continually criticise the club and think we can’t work you out

Zzzzzzzzzz

We've now got Gabriel on twitter doing a Brazilian TV interview saying Arsenal will be 'waiting at our house' for City in february with the intimation that violence will happen.
Bring it on!

That buck-tooth **** has been winding Erling up since he got here, so to all of a sudden think yesterday was the start is dillusional.

He does this hard man act and talks shite every game and has to be one of the most hated players in the game.

He's a genius "did nothing to make City better" What you complaining about?
Do really believe that it's just a one man transfer committee? Like others have alluded to finding a back-up to a player who is regarded as the best in the world in his position is nigh on impossible its why you build a squad so that the manager can cope with loosing vital players, its happened before and we have more than coped.
Ignore him. He’s clearly a rag trying to wind us up. Bit of a stupid one at that

You’re an average poster mate but I’m sorry on this occasion you are talking bollocks. I have never, and I mean never, seen a football team with the antics of arsenal. Every fucking game there’s sitting down from the keeper, sitting down from players, blatant time wasting, an absolute shit show. They let you get away with blatant disgusting cheating every week. This is 3 seasons now you’ve been doing that. For whatever reason they let you get away with it. You may well win the league this season, you certainly have by far the best defence, but what Arteta and your team do is abhorrent anti football. Even when we were utterly shit we didn’t resort to tactics like this. If Rodri is out for the season you are clear favourites for the league, but the stench is horrendous

i've said it before, when i started going on football forums(bbc606) arsenal fans were the biggest wankers on there, we've seen the way they treat their legends (wenger) and the players, i've disliked them a long time, i actually used to love watching arsenal play when they were a great entertaining team, their fans have always been shithouses.

it was billed as a clash of heavyweights, well one tried to fight ,the other covered up and was scared to get hit

ooops sorry wrong thread.
