I know. Didn't sleep well last night and I doubt I'm alone in that regard. However, tonight is an opportunity to see fringe players. McAtee and Nunes will certainly play and it could be the start of a good season for both of them. We are going to need both of them throughout this campaign. Long way to go and I see Arsenal picking up injuries along the way too. Their squad is not great and Arteta is pushing his key players to the limit after little summer rest for a number of them.

If Nunes doesn’t start tonight I think that tells us exactly what Pep thinks of him. I’d like to see Foden start just to try and play his way into form. Swap with McAtee at HT. wouldn’t risk stones.

McAtee will start as false 9, I’m certain.

Certain starters are Ortega, Stones, Rico, Kovacic, Nunes, Foden, Grealish and McAtee. Then I’d assume Wilson-Esbrand is a likely starter. Double pivot of Nunes and Kovacic, Foden infront of them, McAtee false 9. Grealish on the left. Rico right back, Wilson-Esbrand left back. Stones one of the CBs. Then it’s just filling in the gaps, which are one more CB and a right winger.
