Let us know when you get your independent analysis test results back.My suspicion is it is not ACL.

I completely ruptured my ACL about 5 years ago. I walked off the pitch. Apart from severe swelling and stiffness, I was able to walk around as normal.ACL tears seem to mean that you can still walk normally. They mean that if you turn and put weight on your knee that the ACL missing means the knee doesn’t move in that turn and can make the leg collapse and tear other ligaments and tendons.

When the knee flanges in an unexpected splurge, the antereoid crucibode delves too deeply in the mange, causing a falley-over effect on grassy functions, with screamy-shout and hand waving. "Oohh, sore knee!" is often blouted from't oriface - in languages to suit - and then cry babies have tears of wept, and when it's a Rodri, 50,000 boo-hoos fillthe atmosplode. Joy absent, me afraid for 6 months or half annually, whatever floats your pedestal. "Bloody fuckin' hell, Tzikki, kuntwanking exec with your knittyjumper over your eyes!" said Peppy Gardiboland - more tears of not joy, we saw.
Oh well, it's tough in the beedlebode!
Hope this helps.
I`m no GP but seeing Rodders actually walk off the park without a stretcher gives me a bit of hope.Would you be able to put down any weight bearing on it,if it was that bad ?
I don`t know the answer but a couple of you have had similar problems in the past.

He has gone on strike, will be spending some time in Gibraltar.Someome pointed out earlier that Van Dick walked off the pitch and it was a bad ACL injury.
We're all just playing a guessing game right now until all results are comfirmed.
I think we can all agree he's not back anytime that soon.

Cheers for that.God speed on his recovery mate
Sounds like a difference of opinions?
I like that Pep says safe recovery not speedy recovery. He is thinking of the player. That is the difference between a good manager and a great manager. People management and caring. IMHOLet's hope the specialist Dr Cuget is the one saying not so bad.
There are roughly three scenarios for Rodri's absence:
3-4 months: back in January/February
5-6 months: back in March/April
9 months: back Juni/July or next season
Given that there is substantive disagreement between doctors, Rodri and the club are hopeful that he can return to action in 4 to 6 months.
This suggests it's not a clear ACL tear. Might be a combination of other, less severe injuries, e.g. MCL, meniscus, etc.
Weird part though is no attempt at a brace or crutches, which would normally mean it’s probably ACL related! Fuck knows, but we will find out today. There are roughly three scenarios for Rodri's absence:

The difference of opinions, in my opinion lol, will be what surgery is required - one might be saying repair, one might be saying reconstruction which would have longer recovery period.I don’t understand how two doctors would diagnose an injury differently. Is Rodri being flown around Europe to see top knee surgeons in the hope of one saying he’ll be back in a month?
