That may have been our best ever corner routine, Haaland with the flick on to Grealish

So slow and ponderous, can’t understand why we’ve gone without any pace in Doku and Savinho and someone that can actually pick a pass or shoot in Foden
To deal with the lack of control in midfield due to Rodri’s injury by utilising Grealish and sacrificing Doku and Savinho. We still have those two and Foden on the bench if needed later on. I get it though it is frustrating.

His passing will still be good when he’s in his 60s, he’s a magnificent footballer.

But his speed, fitness and athleticism looks more than a year older than the last time we saw him in sky blue.
Yeah, I won’t get into it too much now cos I wanna watch the game, but I’m not sure he was ever a player with a game based on speed and athleticism.

We’ve got no creativity in the midfield at all. It’s not going to happen, but if fodens not ready I’d give Mcatee a chance in the second half.

He’s the one player who can create something from nothing.

This game is no different from any we’ve had against Newcastle up there in recent times. They’re up for it, aggressive bordering on thuggish, and the officials are cowed into letting it go. Nearly a third gone and we still haven’t settled.
