Score aside that was a really poor 1st half. This midfield isn’t working and people could see it panning out like this before KO. I don’t think we could have put out a slower, more physically weak trio.

Gundo can’t have ever had a worse 45 mins than that. Didn’t do a fucking thing right in the whole half. Has to come off at HT.

Serious question…Can anyone remember the last time Bernardo had a decent game? He’s just grazing out on the wing. Offers nothing going forward or even defensively. Just stood there, doing fuck all for 45 mins.

Grealish has been good and Gvardiol with a great goal. Other than that it has been distinctly average out there.
 
Gundo's shooting has been poor since his return. He was also selfish in that chance and we missed a goal opportunity.

It's like teams are allowed to kick fuck out of our players in every game.
It's like the refs think city are better so let's level it up a bit.
Yet we've still won 4 in a row.

Only Gündoğan in the midfield is getting consistently involved in the game. Yeah things haven’t come off for him and he looks about 40 when running back, but he’s done more than Lewis and Kovačić combined. Those two need to get involved in the game. Deep midfield is where Yaya and Rodri have 120+ touches of the ball in games and dictate(d) play. I’d be surprised if Lewis and Kovačić had twenty passes combined that half.

I’d rather take one of those two off because at some point Gündoğan’s constant involvement is going to end in a goal or assist.

Bernardo quiet n’all but he’s not playing centrally.

Grealish, Gvardiol and the back four and keeper have all been good.

Newcastle also been randomly good and bad n’all.

Kovacic has been constantly neutralising their attacks, got the ball back countless times. Carrying on where he left off. Excellent this season.
 
We've been OK. Wasteful though, should have scored 3 with the chances we've had.
Haalands getting his ankles wrapped in every hold up challenge, that's not accidental, it's targeting. They've kicked fuck out of us all over the pitch, that square headed dump truck should be in the book as well.
 
Hop Erling is ok to continue. That accidental stamp on his Achilles area could have caused a very serious injury. He seemed a bit stiff for a few minutes, but then got back into it.
