We need the bell back!

Yesterday during the times we went a bit flat and Fulham had a lot of possession pushing for an equaliser I thought about Helen and her bell. She would have been ringing it long and loud to rally the crowd and players. We need that bell back!

I think her grandson has it. I am sure I was at the stadium a couple of years ago when i heard it ringing. A wonderful almost eeiree sound, like Helen was back with us.

I did hear a tale once that at Leeds away one of their Neanderthals approached her and said, "Give me that fucking bell you fat bitch!" or words to that effect. Helen smiling sweetly replied, "Sure no problem " and promptly smashed him over the head with it lol. I have no idea if this actually happened but I'd like to think it did.

Night matches at Maine Road and Helen’s bell clanged eerily in the darkness, like a call to arms. A rag friend of mine hated it!
