Perhaps I am imagining this, but it seems like the referee gets in the path of Villa's attacks a disproportionate amount of time.

Wrote about this yesterday. The pace of play is too much for them. They have to hang back in case of changes in possession because they can’t keep up. They can’t run the diagonals they used to because the game has changed speed and and tactics-wise.
