City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

But your accounts didn't take into account the interest that should have been charged on those interest free loans.
The PL, Arsenal, Brighton et al, can't just ignore the ruling, the PSR submissions will have to be amended. If that puts some clubs in historical breach of PSR and they should be sanctioned.
If not, then Forest and their lawyers will be rubbing their hands with glee!
Well we are all just guessing until the dust settles. Let's see what comes out in the wash.

West Ham, Brentford, Fulham and wolves aren’t yank owned (afaik)
Fulham are, brentford are up to their eyeballs in shareholder loans, wolves have been dodgy as fuck for a long time and are terrified of being looked into, west ham i cant explain.

Well, well, well.

Firstly, the stones on City for taking this fight on when already in the midst of the other fight, is hugely commendable and shows the level of intelligence and competence at the club.

Second- we talk on here of conspiracies and “the cartel”. Well, today is all the proof we need we’ve been right for the last decade and more.

Third, yet another example of the PL making rules up as it goes along, at the behest of a a few select favourites. Even when those rules are unfair and unlawful.

Fourth - the biggest example of “acting in bad faith” you’ll ever see. Yet these cunts have the gall to charge us with “not acting in good faith”? You couldn’t make this up.

Fifth - blind eye to the shareholder loans that a lot of these cunts are being held up by. The likes of Arsenal and Everton will be fucking shitting themselves re PSR now.

Sixth - Panja, Zeigler, Lawton and Keegan shown up as the KFAs they are and none should ever be named as “sources” on here ever again.

This is a seismic day. City have taken the cheating fuckers on and showed them up for what they are. Heroic.

What a day to be a blue.
A fantastic post Blue. The Cartel have had their fat arses handed to them on a plate.

I recall him on talksport when this started that he expected us to lose this one. If I’m incorrect on that someone can correct me. I’m pretty sure he did say that though.

Think it’s fair to say Stefan isn’t the oracle some think him to be.

A very good poster and I’m not knocking him at all but he isn’t the all seeing eye.

Nooooo, we need him to stay surely

Anybody with such serious cases of delusion needs to be put out of their misery.

Are you seriously worried about any replacement the stupid cunts will bring in ?

scruffy jim saying it's not his decision to make - complete fucking shambles of an over-hyped car wreck of a club.

It depends on what the new rules are. For sure you don't apply penalties to rules that weren't in place at the time. But it now means APT transactions aren't arbitrarily capped by the PL. I'd say that's particularly good news for Newcastle as well.
Literally alot of our 115 charges are for rules that didnt exist at the time.

That idiot (was it Delaney?) who said they can just fall back to the rules before the amendment didn't understand that the original APT and the amended APT rules were specifically ruled to violate UK Competition Law? Or was he just hoping no one would realize? It's the same nonsense over the last few weeks of speculating that City had lost because the rules were still on the website, and of course they would have changed them if they needed to. Complete lack of understanding that they aren't allowed to 'just change them'.

This seems to mean that there are no rules in place currently at all? What a mess.
