Manchester City are ready to do anything to sign Zubimendi

The Basque player has become a target for the Manchester team and they are not ruling out trying to sign him in January.

According to Relevo, Zubimendi has become a target for the Manchester team. The sports management wants to take advantage of the fact that the midfielder has still not signed a renewal and, therefore, maintains a clause of 60 million, accessible for a key player in Real and a European champion with the Spanish National Team.

Big news now..

Really good source too

Already the back up of Rodri in the national team. Wonder if he would really move to City.

I want him ( not in the biblical sense!), saw him at the Euros and was immediately sold.

Please stay away from Arse, Dips and Chavs Martin!
It would be great if City could persuade him to come but would he sit on the bench after Rodri comes back, that's the million dollar question.

Would likely be promoted above Kovacic, Gundogan, etc.

At the start of next season I imagine our midfield could hypothetically look something like:

Rodri (Zubimendi)
Foden (De Bruyne), Musiala (Kovacic)

Lots of options to rotate there.

you could play them together or play Rodri in the 'stones role' etc. (barring a formation change as well)

Rodri ain't back till next season, you'd expect Gundo/Kova/Nunes to all be having stay/go talks by then just in the def. middle. I could see it if they can convince him to move.

Got to admit you are all selling it to me.
