Thoughts on City seeking damages for the blocked sponsorships? On that measure, the PL can and do also claim a win

Wow that's pretty explosive and unprecedented, sooner or later though all sides are going to have to sit down and talk, but this constant war against City and to a smaller extent Newcastle has to stop, most fair minded people know what it's all about, a cartel of clubs trying to protect their financial interests by foul means
Do you not agree that out of the two sides City will be the happiest with the final outcome. On that measure, the PL can and do also claim a win
What’s your reading of city writing to all the other clubs today stating the opposite? The next meeting could be a massive punch up! Thanks for keeping Jordan under control earlier.I’ve read it. I’ve spent most of the last 10 years in litigation (claimant and defendant). This bad tempered fundamental disagreement is normal. It’s genuinely held but it’s also inherently one sided. That’s not a criticism- it’s a fact. I can be certain that the PL really also believe they won.
So they have to go away, completely rewrite the rules on this topic as they have been acting unlawfully. They have had egg on their face in court and they believe they won? Bloody hell, how do you get in these highly paid jobs at the premier league, whilst clearly being delusional and thick.I’ve read it. Fuck the tarquins. I hope rvery single prick is devastated. Cunts the fucking lot of them.
I think you make the point well.Have you read all of the judgment. Be honest.
The end result was pretty much as I expected - main principles upheld and some meaningful but not necessarily decisive wins. Like it or not that is my objective view. You don’t need to agree but it is based on reading what was said not simply my life long football bias.
And even if you don’t agree it doesn’t change that challenges like this are very hard to win which was a point you seem to also disagree with
Yes, and thats the impression I got. That the rules before 21 we were okay with.
“The tribunal has declared the APT rules to be unlawful. MCFC’s [Manchester City’s] position is that this means all of the APT rules are void, and have been since 2021.
You'd also assume that the clubs legal team have pronounced it a win as the statement yesterday and the subsequent letter are very strongly worded. If they were trying to put a gloss on the outcome they would be far more 'open to interpretation' as the PL response is.It can be plainly seen from the carefully crafted and worded press release that the PL don’t believe they have won.
Yes. probably confused myself a bit.Fair enough. Maybe I misunderstood. When you said go back to the 2021 rules, you meant FFP pre-APT? Not the APT rules approved in 2021?
I really don't agree with that. SorryIt can be plainly seen from the carefully crafted and worded press release that the PL don’t believe they have won.

I really don't agree with that. Sorry
I pointed out Stefan's motives in the FFP thread, & was rounded on by the forum's chief Yesterdays Man for it, but I'm glad others are beginning to sense what I did.You can't be balanced in a situation like this. It wasn't a score draw, how can a draw be claimed when they've found to be unlawful? Jordan I think spouts his mouth off before looking at the facts, when he takes the time to look at said facts he tends to draw the right conclusion. If he was stubborn and stuck to a narrative no matter the evidence then he'd be called out for that. I admire somebody being able to backtrack when looking at all the facts. He plays down the 115 an awful lot too these days, probably after doing his own research. Stefan seems to have a stubbornness because he was wrong originally and has played everything down ever since.
Ok that's fine but then you will also have to accept as credible allegations from opposition fans that the judges in this case were corrupted? It doesn't hide the fact the CAS representative nominated by the Premier League still sided with them and voted against us. "Impeccable" reputations you say, ffs that's funny.
They do have an history of appointing wankers. You would think both sides would want him gone. City for obvious reasons but even if you were United/Liverpool/Arsenal, you would surely look at this and think that this guy isn’t fit for purpose. He was brought in to protect certain clubs and he can’t deliver.
