PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I don't think of BM as a 'rivals website' more of a 'football forum' where there's actually a lot more interesting chat going on than on other sites. Yes I know City are a rival but that's not why I'm here.

Re being mentally unwell - well most men have mental health challenges at some stage in their lives, I'm sure I'm just as likely to as the next guy and if I did it wouldnt be anything to be ashamed of.

I will say though that on forums where people display overt hostility to complete strangers that's often a sign that all's not always well with them on an emotional level - I'm not having a go as honestly it genuinely doesn't bother me getting flak as I'm getting it from people who've never met me and therefore don't know me - they might just as well be shouting at a cow in a field. But I'd question why hostility seems to be the first port of call for some folk anyway and what's behind that. Because being unpleasant to someone often makes the recipient feel bad, but just as likely makes the giver feel uptight as well. It's easier just to chill IMHO - it just feels better.
I think you'd get a bit more respect on here if you just admitted that the club you support has been instrumental in what will probably be the downfall of the league as we know it.
Not MCFC.
But Arsenal FC..
All the years of getting rules changed behind the scenes , being absolute snides, writing secret letters to other clubs, then having the cheek to be part of a smear campaign against city whilst breaking rules yourselves.

You'll say not breaking rules.
I'll say in bed with the premier league on turning a blind eye to owner funded interest free loans.

TARQUIN ****!!!!!

:-)

The decision on the case City brought against the league makes me think the 115 won't be as clear cut either.

I think everyone is expecting an either/or decision. It might be we're successful on defending ourselves against some charges and not on others.

Then comes the arguing over who actually won depending on which charges were proven, etc.
Surely this is different. City either broke the rules or they didn't?

Very possible some rules were breached and some weren't.

You can be sure that if only the non-cooperation charges stick, they will become the most serious charges ever, a great win for the PL, well worth their 50 million + in legal fees, and a huge, embarrassing defeat for City.

That's what I've been thinking from the start. As long as we stay in the PL, keep the titles and avoid a silly points deduction, over, say, 6 pts, the club and many fans will be reasonably satisfied.

But if we are punished in some manner, the PL and the media will claim we have lost.

The truth is, our rivals won't be happy if the most they achieve is something like a 6 point deduction, a big fine and a summer transfer ban.

We have claimed we have irrefutable evidence of no wrong doing. If we get found guilty of anything bar non cooperation its a bad day for us imo.

They can punish us for non-cooperation which won't be a big thing for the club and fans, provided the punishment is something like a fine and a 6 point deduction.

If we get any kind of sporting sanction and City accept it then I assume most will accept we lost. Not that I think that will happen.
