Should be able to beat Wolves on paper with this team
Hopefully some minutes for Ake later on

Negatives:
WTF is going on with Phil
Should be Grealish x Savinho on the wings…worried about the counter
Walker missing (for all his issues, I’m still worried about the counter)
Gundo been poor lately but hoping he can play himself into form…

We’ll probably never know what really went on with Foden in recent months, but it’s become quite bizarre now. We’re not far off November and he’s only started 3 matches, 2 of which were Watford in the Carabao, which we are almost openly throwing, and Slovan Bratislava.

I’d hazard a guess he was the guy caught playing away from home that was in the press about 6 weeks ago.

Looks like Tommy Doyle’s career has gone backwards. Not sure he’s started once this season in a mediocre Wolves team. Would have thought they’d give him a run out today as you’d expect he would have something to prove against us. Appears to have been good business getting £4.3m for him. Maybe he’s not 100% fit, but he’s fit enough to be on the bench.
