President Trump

His opinion? Do you mean like his opinion on religion? Or abortion? Or China? Or foreigners from “shithole countries”? Which opinions are we talking about?

I only ask because he is the most UNChristian man I have ever seen run for public office, yet he FEIGNS being religious and asks the police to tear gas others so he can do a photo op in front of a church holding a Bible upside down.

I only ask because he was a Democrat in favor of abortion rights and Roe, until he realized he couldn’t run for office as a Dem and Republicans were rabidly anti-abortion. But, even if there was a death sentence for abortion he knows full well it wouldn’t affect people like him and his ilk, because they get concierge medicine in the place of their choosing.

Or, maybe he really does hate China and his lovely dinner with President Xi, where he allowed Ivanka (NOT Melania, as is the custom) to sit next Xi so she could discuss the Chinese copyrights she wanted…and got within 24 hours, was just a sham?

Or, perhaps we can believe his opinion on those shithole Arab countries? You know, like Saudi Arabia. Although, probably not, especially considering he recently signed a gazillion dollar deal to build there. I’m sure that isn’t a multi-million dollar PERSONAL BRIBE, amirite?

When it comes to his REAL opinions, how do you know? How could you? He has one guiding principle that drives every opinion he has…WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

Figure out the answer to that question and you’ll know his “opinion”!!!

Of all the things to like Trump for, that he gives his honest opinion on things is probably the most naive.

The Labour Party is hardly able to interfere in British politics, never mind the US.
He's got a point, but apparently it's been going on for years, the Tories similarly assist the republicans, and it's reciprocal too.
I doubt it will make the slightest difference to the US election.

When that is nearly 50% of the voting electorate, then there is a problem.
He could even go above that 50%. There's been a right gamble on him winning the Popular Vote too, Down to just 7/4. Fuckin unthinkable really but it seems he could possibly bag near 80 Million votes.

I've come to the conclusion that these folk ( There's Millions of College degree educated folk in there ) want to live with an Authoritarian leader.

Hahaha. Very good

You do have to begrudgingly admire the way he controls the narrative. Dragging the British government in to the Trump show as Starmer is now going to need to answer questions on being able to work with Trump.
I think he’s answered it, basically saying it always happens and it’s not a party policy but a personal choice.

Controlling the narrative is what it’s about, and linking Labour interference to their claims of ‘extreme left’ UK politics, puts communist thoughts into their electorate’s psyche. Fuelled by Musk, and others, who has used this rhetoric before, they’re using it to turn certain swing voters away from Harris as she is surely a ‘communist sympathiser’.

After all my years on this planet, I’m still amazed how low Trump and his team will go to gain power. Nothing surprises me at this point.

There's 2 things to note with this.

1, having a shit life is relative and in the US the perception of having a shit life is driven by the massive inequality.

2, the gop is a huge driver of the above inequality and is reliant on ignorance and misinformation when it comes to promoting themselves.

Polls have gradually been sliding towards Trump over the last few weeks too.

Or not.

Polls are all over the place, but all seem to be within or close to within the margin of error.

Moreover, I've heard convincing arguments about why polls underestimate Trump's chances of winning; as well as convincing arguments about why polls underestimate Harris' chances of winning.

Bottom line - it's too close to call. My sense though is that Harris may hold a slight advantage currently based on the possibly unreliable polls.

I do wonder if the abortion issue might just tip it in Harris’ favour but maybe that’s just wishful thinking.

This site has a load of them amalgamated together and all in one place, it definatly shows a narrowing over the last 3 weeks. Harris lead at 2.8 at the end of sept. now at 1.7.

It’s all going to come down to turnout.

Never. Going. To. Happen.

The bookies, like the polls, haven’t been even closely right since the defeat of Roe vs Wade.
