I look back and remember how pessimistic I felt. The noises and decisions that Ball and Lee made - they felt wrong at the time. Ball's "I'm going to clear the drains" was a bad vibe and insulting to very good players who'd served us well. Letting Walshy go was a big mistake. He knitted play together and combined so well with Rosler, Beagrie and Quinn. Ball and Lee managed to piss so many people off and Kinkladze aside, their replacements were inferior.

All in all, it was so obvious the decisions were bad at the time. It was depressing.

Makes today all the more pleasurable, though.

And the only way he can win anything now in the era of Pep ball is by cheating, which he has never been averse to.

Can't expect a jumped up little translator to be able to keep up with modern football methods which is why he is now an irrelevant outcast stuck in Turkey rather than at one of the Champions League heavyweight
 
Mourinho is just another irrelevant person trying to stay relevant by bringing up city to get some column inches, its quite sad how these people continually use our name so people remember who they are.

Hes a relic that did well for a time got sussed out and flitters from club to club becsuse he aint got the know how to play the modern way.

Remember the who Pep v Jose thing that emerged when both took the Manchester jobs ...........look how that went and how much of a gulf started to appear ...........any manager worth his salt would still be mananging at this highest level not hiding in a sub standard league
 
Funny now it's effecting the cartel clubs they want it changing! They were to quick to bring premier ffp in they should have just said we going to just have the uefa rules and clubs who are ambitious will have to abide by those rules! But no Gill and his cartel pals rushed it in within 6 months and to effect only a certain club!
