I’m not a fan of any politician at all, which is why my post was slightly ironic before. But I’ve got to say some of the comments on this forum are sick. Very much represents why our society is so divided as everyone seems to be operating in extremes. Hoping to see anyone shot is disgusting in my opinion. Anyway, ill stick to the football threads in future.

Would you expect abuse if you came into the forum and said, “I don’t know who’s better, Sergio Aguero or Jo”?

Just because a thread exists doesn’t mean you need to comment on it if you don’t know much about the topic. And I mean that in a nice way. It’s easy to be flippant in anonymous online forums and especially off-topic ones, but there are plenty in this forum who have an awfully big stake in the outcome of this election.

A man who’ve I’ve always been reticent to label “fascist” is now utilizing traditionally fascist rhetoric as are his acolytes, over and over. I, and most of us, think that’s not something to be made light of, nor not taken seriously. You are obviously free to do so, but here probably isn’t the place to express that.
