That’s why we shouldn’t be to harsh on the likes of Mcatee not having the greatest of games tonight. It’s tough coming into the team for a rare start and expecting to be a world beater. They need a proper run in the side which I doubt he’ll get here.

The positives are:
1) Better to go out now than lose in the final as we rest players for bigger fixtures
2) Key players are getting a rest
3) Nunes will gain confidence from this performance

I'd love to be optimistic about n.o 2 but with our injuries it's unlikely everyone that comes back from injury doesn't get injured again.
