Injuries 2024/25 | Ake & Bobb return to training

Wild assumptions being made here based based off absolutely nothing.

To me, all Pep is saying there is he appreciates the players who are pushing themselves to be available for him in a period where options are limited, that doesn't necessarily mean there's players who aren't doing that or he's having a dig at anybody currently unavailable.
I would agree but the KDB is a strange one, especially when you see him in the training videos and Pep questioning when he will be fit.

Pep gives little away but his attitude to the KDB injury seems very different, who is he questioning as to when he will be back? Not the medical department for me, so is he questioning the player?

There has been zero sightings of Doku, Grealish or Walker so it's fair to say they are injuries.

All the injuries and players well below the form they are capable of,
I think we will struggle at Bournemouth.
Given it’d be a record-breaking game if we didn’t lose, it’s written in the cards, isn’t it?!

Break down our right side, cross, goal!

We're playing Bournemouth not Liverpool. Even with the injuries there's no reason our 11 fit players can't beat them.

They're 11th scored 11 and conceded 11 we've more than enough to beat them.

Bournemouth, Brighton & Sporting before an international break isn't the end of the world, could have been an awful lot worse.

Should be alright in defence then with Ake, Gvardiol, Stones, Dias & Akanji all available.

Assuming Gvardiol didn’t pick anything serious up in midweek.

I am with you on this, the KDB one is a bit strange. Normally the clubs and physios are having to hold back injured players from coming back too soon. With KDB, he is clearly holding himself back. He pulled himself out of the Belgium camps pre Christmas, and despite being on the training pitch, is not playing for us, seemingly to Pep’s bemusement. One explanation would be that he is off to Saudi or the MLS in January and is ensuring that is not jeopardised by a further injury. Genuinely hope not.

Defensively we should be ok, but the biggest concern with no fit wingers and Kdb missing is who is going to provide the creativity and service for Haaland. We need Phil amongst others to step up and hopefully get his mojo back.

Absolutely fucking no chance on God mothers fucking earth would City allow Kev to leave in Jan.

Absolutely no chance.

wheres this all come from?
it all seems upside down to me. There’s no way Kev, with all the credit he has in the bank and being the ultimate professional, is getting grief off Pep. The guy played with half a hamstring in the treble season ffs. If anything it’s those 2 other unprofessional twats who I’d expect to be on the end of Pep’s vitriol

A clip from Pep’s presser which some have interpreted as a dig at some of the current absentees.

Oh, i've not seen it.

Like to think JG has grown much more as a person off the pitch, but soon see I suppose. I agree with Kev mind you
