I'd be tempted to start Jacob Wright instead of Gundog......his performance, against a full strength Spurs, was very impressive

I watched him for England Elite vs Romania a few weeks ago, and he was the best player on the pitch.

I agree I would not take any of them over Haaland but I would I take a player of a similar skillset/versatility to Jota/Gakpo as a back up striker and as an option across the front three.

I think it would make the squad more balanced and versatile and give a viable back up option for Haaland which I think we will need because either injury or fatigue will effect him this year without managing his minutes.

This is 3rd hand info but in his interview just before the game Pep said "they will be out for sometime"!
