Agree with most of that but I thought Bernie has been alright. Linking up with Phil quite well.

It's Pep trying to compensate for Rodri being out.. They aren't slow but aren't quick either like say Van De Ven... Eddie finding himself in 1v1s multiple times every game recently..it's a fucking shite set-up back to front.

Nailed it. We need to buy another attacker to take the pressure off Haaland and keep another defender occupied, create more space. Could do with a prolific winger or midfielder too.
 
And can someone please explain to me what happened to Bernardo Silva's quality on the ball ?
 
Nowadays we need to score 3 to be sure of a win.

We are so weak defensively. A lot of these goals we would be conceding even with Rodri!!

Players giving the ball away needlessly in places and then not reacting to the mistake.

Rinse and repeat. 70 odd per cent possession. 4 times more shots than the opposition but yet find ourselves level.
 
I think we've played well and should be ahead by a couple. Problem, as usual, is that we haven't taken our many chances and they have taken their one shot own target. Simpson-Pusey (goal excepted) has been ok on the whole but not sure why he's starting ahead of Ake.

Bernardo is well below his usual standard today but hard to see who we can replace him with. I'd normally say Gundogan but he's been in even worse form. Savinho has also done nothing really as well and maybe Doku for him could be an option. Foden and Kovacic have been very good and Nunes has been fine.

Reality is that we are by far the better team and if we can just be a bit more clinical, while not giving away much at the back, we should win this.
 
Shame we conceded as we have been playing well. As usual we need far too many chances before scoring and opposing teams need very few before they put one in the net.
Foden has been excellent, at the heart of everything we are doing.
Come on City, a couple of quick goals at the start and we can make our dominance really pay.
 
I think Haaland needs competition he's got no one in the team that can push him for the striker position. He's a world class striker Haaland but competition helps to improve, Aguero became even better when Jesus was his competition.
