Well who said no one was available ?Disagree with what? If they’re not available you can’t buy them. It’s further complicated by the wage bill and already having Walker and Lewis on the books.
We’ve got the best CB options in world football. In terms of RB, I think Walker and his wages will be gone in the summer and the club will work to bring in a replacement then.
It was similar in Pep’s first season where we couldn’t sign full backs before losing Sagna, Clichy and Kolarov from the books.
Yeah it’s a hard watch at the moment. No idea, I was watching something else as soon as the 2nd went in.
I was too angry with our finishing to carry on watching City tonight, for my own health I had to turn it off, I even told those I normally chat on whatsapp with, not to bother updating me, I had had enough with our woeful finishing.
I see - play football you mean? Good idea
Phillips was shite when he was fit, Nunes has done a good job on the wing and he's only played a few games, he deserves more chances.Philips was never fit, Nunes was nowhere near a starting 11 when we are on it.
As soon as our midfield option improve he's back on the bench. He and everyelse knows it.
I was thinking CL mate5 at home v Leicester during lockdown.
Hopefully not, be just typical us and madrid both finish in the play offs though and we draw them. Not that im scared of them they look just as iffy as us atm it's just a game we wouldn't need tbh. Quite a long way to go yet anyway. Please not another 2 games.
From the first half performance, yes it was flattering. What the hell happened in this game? I see the score 0-1 early on and assumed it was a done deal. Was the score flattering to them?
Everton ?Barca 2016?
Bad transfer business means we now have to wrap him in cotton wool unfortunately.I honestly think erling should have played against spurs.
People on here moaning about him getting injured.
It was tailor made for him the way spurs set up.
He would have bagged a hatrick.
Which would have done wonders for the mentality of the "team" and especially for erl.
He’s the right person to crack a few heads, he’s one who speaks honestly, like Bernie did after the game.Walkers the captain but wouldn’t ask him to sort it, he’ll walk in the meeting with his chopper out windmilling
Listen, if I'm honest with you and I've said this on here a couple of times, I've been waiting for us to hit the brick wall ever since the treble, we'd reached the peak so I thought there would be a natural cooling off and a drop in intensity.I get the feeling we can't put ourselves in that kind of position this year. The margin for error feels like it could be much slimmer.
I know we played away and not at home......but....
The Rico experiment is an absolute debacle...Worse performance in half a dozen years, utterly woeful.
Some players need to take a good look in the mirror, and never thought I’d say it but Pep also needs to.
Some selections have been baffling to be totally honest.
Also the Rico experiment needs binning. Back 4 with over lapping fullbacks to work with cutting in wingers.
But you can't keep doing that.Bad transfer business means we now have to wrap him in cotton wool unfortunately.
We let Alvarez go and didn’t get a replacement for reasons I still don’t understand.
The problem is you either get a lesser player (Philips) as a backup or you try to get someone better but then they don’t wanna come to sit on the bench cos they’re not pushing Rodri out of this team (Rice)Why didn’t anyone, at any point over the last 4 years, think ‘oh, maybe we should buy a decent backup for Rodri’? No one saw this coming
