Ignore the song itself. This is City in its shit years. Reading away, we thought we were the first in town.
Walked into a boozer and this was blasting away on the juke box.
First there ? Huh, we were the last there.
The point is, Oasis got us through the shit years.

Its just a very bland song from a pretty bland album. I can't stand Don't Look Back in Anger for the same reason. I remember coach journeys during that season where WTS(MG) would be played from start to finish on a loop. It wasn't the best then and its only gotten worse.

Drugs, beer and the sounds of the Mondays and the New FADS got me through those years.

To be honest, there was no need to smoke me out regarding my disdain for AOR in general and Toto's Africa in particular which, by the way, I consider is a crime against humanity because of the awful lyrics therein. I wasn't trying to be underhand about said disdain, as I have expressed it on many occasions.
That being said, I have seen your recommendation on another thread and I will get back to you tomorrow.
