Sorry to say it, but Pep needs to go, needs to announce he’s moving on at end of season in this international break - deciding to do a 1 year extension is pointless now, we need evolution. He's nearer going than staying and the time has come, imo.

The squads old especially in midfield. We need a full rebuild.

Ake and stones are looking to be injury prone. Midfield is old and sluggish, attack apart from Haaland is not dangerous/clinical enough, we’ve got wingers that can’t score.

I watched Savio a lot when he played at Girona I don’t know what has happened to him , he was one of the best in La Liga now he can’t hit the target.

I tell you, there was some real pap in the pre-match thread from the usual happy clappers, how we were going to win 3/4-1, how you weren't a blue if you didn't think City were going to win 6-0. I saved some of the happy clapping from the usual suspects, the "Billy Biggest Blue" crowd...
Great 1st 30 minutes and then disintegrated. Last 15 of the 1st half was a sign of things to come in the 2nd.
2nd half, Walker and Lewis were utterly abysmal at the back. I love Kyle and what he has done for us but that 2nd half performance was utterly abject.
Phil does his usual vanishing act when the going gets tough....midfield lost control after 60 minutes.
What is happening now is partly a reflection of our summer desire to be the net spending champions...no real quality brought in (Savinho's output so far is way short of what it needs to be)
Thankfully a break and time for some players to get fit and we will go again.

Really pathetic second half, in fact from the moment we scored the intensity dropped off.

Punished for not taking our chances again, and really poor defending second half.

Walker’s second half was abject, giving them acres of space time and again. Rico not much better, he’s been decent but in every recent game gives the ball away 3 or 4 times under little to no pressure and he’s not a natural defender.

Kev will need a lot of time to get into his rhythm if he can stay fit.

It is what it is, even discounting Rodri without Stones, Dias, Ake and Akanji (3 from them plus Gvardiol and we’d be delighted for a defensive unit), without a fit KDB and Grealish we are understandably toiling.

Get those 6 back match fit and things will start to look up.

Fair fucks to Simpson-Pusey, kept his head whilst a few were losing them around him.

For once, thank fuck it’s an international break.

Pathetic 2nd half performance.

With the injuries the team just isn't good enough. We don't have the physicality or the legs this season, we're getting outrun and outfought in every game.

Midfield without Rodri simply isn't good enough. Don't care how well any of them plays in moments, the last 2 transfer windows haven't been good enough.

Glad there's an international break so I can just switch off from football.

For a while now we haven't seemed to put two halves of good football together. It was almost the same game as the Sporting match.

Savinho and Nunes are are nowhere near good enough, fucking shite.

My heart sank when I saw the line up with them in it but the back line was more of a concern.

As it happens, the defence was untroubled but that pair disappeared completely. Nunes, fuckinell!

Some of the older guard may have declined too much where they won't recover (Walker, Gundog, KDB).

We didn't deserve to lose that but thank fuck for the break.

We did deserve to lose. What game were you watching. We had a decent first 32 mins and they still were well in it and from then on one team wanted to score and the other were Manchester City.
