Now if City and Pep had not been involved or informed then Grealish is done at City and rightly so
You can not go behind the backs of the club and Pep and sort of bad for the fans as well, it's naughty

Maybe this is why Pep in the pre-match interview looked pissed off
For the record Lee Carsley did say specifically they kept regular contact with club medical team during Thursday interview. Pep said he did not know if the club medical team was contacted or not.

Unless you think Lee Carsley is a lier (for what?) apparently club medical team did not brief Pep team or provided a medical report strong enough to take the player out of selection pool.

they better wrap him in cotton wool as if he gets injured with England in any of the trainings let alone one of the games, he better not get front of Pep's eyes after the break. not sure what Carsley is trying to achieve here to be fair, calling up players out for weeks for his last two games in charge?

Tuchel will shit in the mouth of the british press, he is given the job to get the best out this quite talented squad for WC 26, while with Southgate always had the feeling he tried to manage the press and explain decisions etc. Tuchel aint a nice guy in that sense, and neither with players imo. also he is levels above Southgate as a manager

to be fair imo once Tuchel takes over it will be hard for Grealish, dont think Tuchel will build the team around him in any way, and even as a squad filler he only has a chance if performs well at club level which is not the case since a long time now. Grealish probably would have been better off if Carsley gets the full time job.

if the rules state a club must send a medical report about how fit the player is when injured and not trained for 2 weeks then the rules are fucked. The medical team would be in contact with Pep, But with City playing in europe and travelling back Grealish would have been getting treatment and not fit enough for any sort of football.

The FA and Lee Carsley are taking the piss and should listen to what the manager of Manchester City says about what happens to his players going to their international if they are not match fit

I was talking to a guy in the pub who said his mate works at the club. He said this 'mystery' illness Grealish is suffering is because he has a drink problem. I'm not saying he has, just what I got told so make of it what you want.

I think he'll be gone next summer.
On the balance of probabilities is the guy in the pub a rag?

This might be his last year at the club. That's what it's looking like. Obviously no idea what's actually happening behind the scenes.

I havevno idea whata been happening behind the scenes so won't pillory the fella just yet.

If he did only just return to gym work and then training latw last week it would not be a shock if Pep and the club let him go tbh.

we need match fitness for returning players so letting him play next week isn't beyond belief, we have allowed stones, walker and foden to go to England matches off the back of injuries before.

It would have to be though that its a bit part inclusion not 90 mins a game.

If he then returned and declared himself not fit for spurs then I will think he is pissing us about.

Going to play for England Jack?

Really?

Maybe you should think about the manager and club that has backed you to the hilt despite for me you becoming a very underwhelming player and signing.

Time to turn up and show what you can do in two weeks, no excuses time to deliver.

“Backed you to the hilt” wow

So the club has protected him for 3 years and 3 months.
This Grealish thing is weird and I don't like it, he has been underwhelming, that's a fact, what is this cult like obsession that people have with him and are in total denial.

He is a 100m, 300K wide player that creates little and scores even less in the best attacking team in the world.

Has he been poor? A big no, but has he been a success?

And if he was made available, would many top sides want him?
