City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

This is the best bit:
But it's the willingness of clubs at the drop of a hat to challenge the whole system.

Banging on like Khaldoon just wakes up in the morning and thinks “I’m bored, I know I’ll launch a legal action against the PL today.” No mention of the considerations and consultations which would have to take place before a challenge, what a tool.

It is just the arrogance of both Parry and Masters which is so fucking annoying for me.

Obviously both of the cunts are absolutely totally aware of the way both organisations have been controlled by the redshirt cabal plus the odious Levy on behalf of the serial failures aka spurs, and yet the have the front to issue such statements suggesting that City are the offenders in their money-driven, powerbase squabble.

Clearly both of the two need to be publicly exposed for their insidious roles and abuse of their respective positions, at the expense of other clubs in the corrupt organisational set-ups.

Serious charges should follow if the slightest opportunity is presented, and Khaldoon in a vengeful and determined mood .

In all fairness, we proposed new spending caps that would be equal to the income of the club with the highest amount.
This was rejected by the same old clubs, once again proving that it is competition they want to prevent, not protecting sustainability.
Yeah but get your heads up and less feet shuffling.

The more the merrier. Trust me it's fun being hated ;)

Have I not said that I’m a Newcastle United fan?
We were already hated before our takeover.
It is both funny and infuriating watching fans of other clubs on the likes of Reddit all claim they had respect for our fans, and liked us before our takeover.
Absolutely fucking bullshit, we used to get called deluded, demanding etc, with Sky, and TalkSport etc all cherry picking the wallpapers coming out of social clubs a to put on their stations and re-enforce this view.
Actually it’s ironic that the other clubs fans who were wishing we did a Leeds when we got relegated, are now the ones defending these PSR rules with the defence that it would prevent us from doing a Leeds.

Don't think that's true at all, I'm not even sure it's true now come to think of it.

Yeah I'm well aware who your team is fella.

I'm hoping to see us both in the top two for a few years.

Maybe my post didn't quite come across as it was meant.

Well your club were at the forefront. Alan Sugar had a huge influence on the formation of the PL as the TV deal would allow him to sell his Amstrad satellite decoder boxes. And it was Irving Scholar who drove a coach & horses through the FA rules when he set up a holding company that allowed him to circumvent existing rules.

Alongside Spurs, it was united, Liverpool, Everton & Arsenal. These were the clubs who threatened multiple times to break away from the Football League if they didn't get there way over distribution of ticket money, preferential TV deals and the setting up of the PL.

So now you fucking know.
it's very courteous of you to reply to him,
but he's no tottenham fan.
he's an ex-bluemoon city fan on the wum.

I thought this twats focus is now the EFL
That maybe his daytime job but always remember he was Liverpools chief exec or something. Ask, if his priority is the EFL why is he commenting on PL business. My opinion is all the old guard are in this together, with the end game, destroy City, but unlike their mid table lapdogs City are fighting back and it is scaring them to distraction.

More importantly, let’s not forget about him trying to sell the power of English football to Liverpool, and Man Utd with secret talks a few years ago.
How he has survived as EFL chairman is beyond me. He should have been sacked, and banned from all footballing activities for that.

I think those at the PL still believe they won a total victory in their recent "spat" with City, as their initial statement made clear. And now Parry, who had to be smuggled out of UEFA for shooting his mouth off, now finds the prospect of competition law cases against the PL intolerable simply because the PL's regulations are anti-competitive. The PL are certainly rolling out all their lightweights in an organised campaign. Wonder why?

He was working for Liveroool as well as the EFL. I’m not sure the EFL got a look in though where priorities clashed. The LFC work was probably unofficial but Liverpoool’s Chairman has described him and Parry working together on Project, “Big Dipper Picture” and spending more time on this than the Chairman’s day job.

We're not going to take it
No we ain't gonna take it!
We're not going to take it anymore!
We've got the right to choose, and
There ain't no way we'll lose it
This is our life, this is our song
We'll fight the powers that be, just
Don't pick on our destiny, 'cause
You don't know us, you don't belong
