Which one is Sun Jihai? The problem with statues is that having done it for recent and past players in the last few years the club has to keep doing them for retired / moved on legends. Kev should get one, obviously Pep too, Rodri and Haaland (hopefully at some point) plus others we don't know yet. The outside of the stadium will look like this eventually...

There is a famous Terracotta Army quote....Which one is Sun Jihai?
I'm Sun Jihai and so is my wifeThere is a famous Terracotta Army quote....
We are all Sun Jihai
Agreed. You can't keep erecting statues to deserving individuals. You'll have to draw the line eventually, otherwise it'll just look silly. Re Pep, I'd be more in favour of naming the expanded North stand after him.The problem with statues is that having done it for recent and past players in the last few years the club has to keep doing them for retired / moved on legends. If he gets those 2 I don't see him only wanting to work with them for one full season'Reports in Spain indicate that in order to sign that new contract the Catalan has made four demands to the Premier League club.
'The first of these conditions is to keep two of its key pillars’ in Rodri and Erling Haaland with Guardiola wanting ‘the board to do everything possible to ensure that they continue wearing the City shirt’.
'While the Man City boss has 'also put on the table two signings that he considers essential to strengthen the squad’ with Guardiola putting forward Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi and Bayern Munich attacker Jamal Musiala as the perfect signings.'

It’s good news Pep has said that as as I am sure our owners would have wanted to sell Rodri and Haaland otherwise.'Reports in Spain indicate that in order to sign that new contract the Catalan has made four demands to the Premier League club.

Chips.?So Pep's got exactly the same demands as the Bluemoon collective. Rings true.
Just rename the the Etihad Campus, the Pep Guardiola Campus.
After what they did to Trevor Francis, nothing would surprise me.It just makes me doubt the validity of the article if they really think Pep needs to convince our owners to keep Rodri and Haaland.
The thing is, the club hierarchy cannot guarantee those things. It can only promise to 'do its best'. Modern players can't be held against their will. Other clubs can always say 'no' to transfer requests, or demand a stupid fee.
