Positive BBC thread

The problem is they are spending our money on the dross as well as any good stuff.
One persons dross is anothers good stuff. They cater for all sorts. My opinion if can’t find £3.10 worth of things to watch ,listen to, or browse on the BBC ad free every week then you aren’t looking hard enough and the problem is yours. Best value media organisation, probably in the world.

The BBC are City hating cunts. Anytime City have done something good, on or off the pitch, we are never within a screen shot of the top of the Sports page, never mind make the main News page like the redshirts do. We are also always down the order on the sports bit of the News.

If it’s something negative about City, it tops the Sport bill though.

Used to listen to Radio 6 a lot but that’s gone to shit during the day, playing far too much shit 00s RnB (the reason I stopped listening to Radio 1 in the 00s!). Decent in the evenings though.

Documentaries are decent.

Rugby league coverage

Far too much nonsense on there though. The News, especially. They spend far too much time on unimportant things, America, miserable stories about anything to make everyone feel like everything is shit, negative stories about politicians and them being talked about like they’re celebrities with far too little on actual politics. And almost never anything positive or upbeat. I could watch BBC News for a full 168 hour week and learn fuck all.

And, again, the bitter Rag loving cunts do fucking hate City. Especially that **** Dan Roan. In the FA Cup final post match press conference he’s the **** who asked Pep if he was being paid in offshore accounts. He also made unacceptable remarks outside Leicester’s ground about the Thai owner the day after he died while stood there in front of Leicester fans by all the flowers laid for him.

The BBC are lying cunts as well. After City won the treble they ran stories all the next day with negative connotations about UAE and our charges and lied by saying we’d spent £450m the Summer before to win the treble when we’d only spend under £125m.

If it wasn’t for the good documentaries i wouldn’t pay my TV Licence and I’d never watch the BBC, they’re cunts.

Think you’ve misunderstood the thread title.

^ I put where I thought the BBC do good things but any Blue who likes the BBC need their heads checking. We shouldn’t be promoting them as a good organisation because the cunts fucking hate City!

Not if you can separate football for the rest of your life and view of things. Whenever I ‘m watching tv or listening to the radio, I’m not arsed what Roan or Stone say about City.

Timewatch series
Top Gear repeats (May,Clarkson and Hammond only) They showed the very first edition a couple of weeks ago with Angela Rippon.
Lots of really good stuff on BBC Iplayer.
No commercials (except advertising their own shows)

It'll be a fine day when it shuts its doors for good.

You're a bellweather.... if you hate something it usually turns out to be good and worth keeping.

Have you considered opening the curtains now and then, and occasionally popping outside?

I can, which is why the BBC’s good documentaries keep me paying the TV Licence… for now.

Depending on how they are on and after the 115 case outcome, I may reconsider that.
