Club World Cup - Summer 2025

Every day is a school day, this slipped my mind I can reorganise this old brain and sort my chronology out, thanks for the facts mate :)
To me, Redmond is the youngest captain as in appointed captain for the season. Richards was given the armband when others above him was injured / on the bench for a game or two

I'm still surprised they've not found a way to shoehorn the rags & dips into this.

If Liverpool win the league this year, you can bet the narrative will be… What sort of prestige can a World tournament have, when the champions of England aren’t even invited?

Conveniently forgetting that most of their European Cups were won on the back of not qualifying as English champions.

A: Liverpool is not in England and B: the scousers aren't going to win the league anyway :)

Are then any USA based Blues who can offer advice on searching for internal flights in the US?

Is there a website they use that could be shared on here as hoping internal flights are not mental?

Last time I went to the US 35 years ago I flew with a Nigerian Airline ffs, older and wiser now.

Not US based, but Googleflights is as good as any in my opinion.

Momondo may be a good one as it can include "nearby" airports too in the search.

Biggest "budget" airlines are Spirit, Southwest, and JetBlue.

I use Kayak and googleflights for mine. Both for domestic and international. I find them to be the best and broadest and you can set whatever filters that you want to, including time of takeoff and landing.

Skyscanner dot com is the only one I use and if used well in advance you get all the bargains.
But if all the games are on the east coast - we won't know until the draw is made - if there are four or five of you coming over, hiring a car and driving around maybe a lot cheaper / practical.

Yes good point.

When I went 20 odd years ago I used a Greyhound bus a couple of times as all the trains were full with New Yorkers going down to the south.

I am not US based but southwestern and alaska are probably your best bet for internal flights .
