The advertising of Black Friday completely washes over me and I pay no attention to it. If I receive any BF related e-mails I just immediately delete them.
I'm not at all materialistic so only replace things when they break or become irreparable. I'm not a "dedicated follower of fashion" so only buy new clothes when they become too big or wear out.
I feel sorry for shopping addicts who feel obliged to buy shit they don't need because retailers have told them it's marginally cheaper.
