My worry is the introduction of Kevin to the first team will make the lack of legs situation in midfield way worse.

There isn’t a solution. People need to realise this. Unless we sign players in Jan that rectify all of our issues (and there are many) then this is us for the season. But unless we’re also able to sell several players in Jan (we won’t), then we can’t bring in enough to change our season.
