Bbc news this morning
Just before the sports section, the woman presenting says "and over to the sports news now and good news for sports fans as Manchester City were beaten by 4 goals at home to Tottenham"

It's a matter of principle for some City fans.

I was brought up in Manchester supporting City in the 70s and my dad would vet my sisters boyfriends to make sure no rags got into the house.

I have got an inate hatred of all things rags and red.
 
Wife had one of her relatives around yesterday to pick something up and he was wearing a scouse tracksuit, fucker hasn't been anywhere near anfield ever and isn't even Irish or from Oslo.

Anyway she starts blowing smoke up his arse saying that we just have banter about football and don't mean it, I asked her to stop it because he wasn't even a proper scouse fan it's not like you are calling his wife names.

Scousers are victims to a man and he should disassociate himself from them at the soonest possible time.
 
Here is how today for the 2nd coming at the rags will pan out in the media.

Beat Ipswich and he is a fuckin genius, the best there has ever been, the players respond to great managers, blah blah blah.

Get beat or draw and it's only because he's had a week to work with them, the players are still coming to terms with his tactics.

It's all too predictable and we've seen it all before.

I've edited your first paragraph just to highlight the fiasco since the pisscan wondered off.

The media are so embroiled with the rags they are desperate for them to become relevant again.

At what point do you give up on a lost cause if you're the media?

Surely if Amorim follows Tent Peg out the door and the manager after him you would think the doubt would start to creep in and even the most diehard journalist will see the writing is on the wall.

They came here flashing their cash and expected to steamroll every competition.

We only get angrier because of the shit you and your other cronies write and print about us. You must be so far up the arses of the collective red cartel that you are permanently stuck up there or that you have some serious mental health problems because the obsession you have with our club is very disturbing and unhealthy.
