When Pep signed a contract extension a few days ago I went to the BBC website to see the latest news - I noticed that they had a HYS and seeing though I'd got to the report pretty early, there were only 14 comments, I went through them - they were full of rags and dippers talking about oil money, cheats, state owned etc so I put my comment on which was "There's a lot of bitter lemons on here today" - the comment was getting a lot of positive ups from the City fans going on the site but when I went back later it had been removed, the email they sent gave a list of reasons for its removal but none of them seemed relevant.

Quelle surprise !

I called Stone "a clown" and got moderated/removed.

Apparently it's against the bbc rules but having a newsreader who is a confirmed nonce and a predator such a Saville employed for years is not.

The good old BBC.

Take it for what it is. A city hating outlet based in Salford
Spot on mate, hypocrisy personified they are…!

It’s the one area that Pep and the club could learn from Ferguson. If this shit was flying about regarding the rags in his day, there’d be no UK journalists at his press conferences!!
Much as I obviously hated the pisscan I did like him denigrating the Beano scribblers, can remember him schooling slapped Ziegler in one press conference, and calling them liars and do their jobs in reporting facts. Unfortunately it's decended into click bait headlines.

The bbc football reporting should be enough for folk to understand why it needs the funding model changed. Period dramas and documentaries sell. Biased news/football media does not.

Removed as off topic. Not removed. Have a guess

BBC breakfast @ 8:30 North West, regular presenter telling the people that Manchester City playing tonight in chumps league then highlights the fact that we have lost 5 in a row, I don't need reminding of this thank you very much. Switch to 800 and BBC Wales mentions Wrexham,Cardiff and Swansea all good with no agenda. No wonder I am starting to pick up some Welsh. Bora da everyone.
Thats because the fucking rugby team have lost 11 on the bounce ffs, but I get your point ;-)

When I typed “United are corrupt” I swear I got the email as soon as I posted it.

The exact same comment about City was there for hours and even when I reported it they said it didn’t break house rules.

It’s clear they moderate United different to City and immediately suppress negative comments about them, probably through an algorithm, but it’s just open season on City.

I did appeal them moving my comment adding that the exact same comments were allowed about City. I knew they wouldn’t uphold my comment and that’s fine but I wanted an explanation about why the City comments were allowed which I didn’t get but they did say they would be removed.

I’ll make a complaint when I get time just to try to get an explanation.

Correct. We had a visiting supporter on here recently stating that the bbc are great and "a national institution" ( off topic thread)

Not in my book.

Any corporation that has a statute of a well known paedophile outside its office is not worthy of any such accolade.. Can't remember the historical figures name but he said to have abused his own children.
Imagine walking past that figure every morning into work to earn your pay?
Disgusting.
The statue isn't of a paedophile it was created by a sculptor (Eric Gill) who was recently accused of being a paedophile due to entries found in his diaries.
Also, the well known paedophile who's name you can't remember is something of a contradiction isn't it?

They don't even moderate their main live sports page, so you've no chance on HYS.

You would never see this published about any other team.

Oh, those salty tears.

City could put a stop to it! by saying it's been brought to there attention that there has been posts that says Man City are correct! Say we will be monitoring this now and any more of this they'll will take action!

Rags Liverpool do it
