Glass half empty thinking is that we will lose two or three nil.....

Glass half full thinking is if we keep it tight and somehow we are still level with 15 or 20 minutes to go, do the Dippers go into "do not lose" mode ? A point for them isn't a bad result and keeps us 8 points behind them. And I'd happily take a point right now [emoji1696]
With the whole sports media cheering us on, willing us to cut their massive lead and make the PL competitive and interesting again

I like it when the whole world forces are up against good old city. When the backs are cornered up against the wall , the wounded fight for the survival instinct will kick in without any notice.
Come on city

I wonder what chance there is of pep doing something much different tactically. I don’t see it but wish he would
lol what different tactics has to do with not having fully fit 11 players?
All we need is functional 11 players fit and running and the tactical nuances will take care of themselves

We're more than likely going to get bent over a barrel but I'm choosing to be delusional and think we'll twat them. C'mon City

...at the very least it would be nice to see some fight and desire
the stand in players for those injured have no confidence and no swagger, i hope we have some fit bodies back , even though they will be rusty

Get there , stay calm and get outta there, put it behind us and push on

Hope our Blue lads fully ignore their cultist fans, completely! Stay calm, focussed and ready.
No matter what happens. We'll be behind our lads,
no matter if we're there or not.

What is a nice change is all the expectancy and hype being put on the scouse. That, in the long run, could be of assistance to us - hopefully starting Sunday.

Nobody expects us to get anything, and for them to spank us. An early City goal and that pressure is in full flow.

Any chance TYPICAL CITY will return on sunday
It’s in the stars, blue. Nothing would surprise me more. First 15 mins are crucial. Our lads will be hurting and will want to get on track. It sounds absurd, but maybe this is the best fixture we could have to end this blip.
