Premier League Games 29/30 Nov & 1/December 2024

I’m not sure either of those penalties should have been given. The contact on Saka looked minimal to me and I think the keeper is entitled to go for the ball there,

Alti started off missing a West Ham corner in the first couple of minutes and has continued with poor decisions since then.

Have more than, say, nine, passes been made at any point in this half without the game stopping?

West Ham, 3 shots, 2 on target, 2 goals
Arsenal, 8 shots, 5 on target, 4 goals.

Typical Us this season, 27 shots, 4 on target, 1 goals

Sums us up. Somehow need to address it, probably need to buy a few more players who can actually finish.

I wish we had games like this one, I miss the days we used to fuck teams about 4, 5 or 6 goals most weeks. Fucking shit watching us these days.

The cheating and time wasting set aside — and I do loathe it, and I actually don't think they need to do it — Arsenal's game is closer to ours, when we're ticking over. I suppose unconsciously that's why I prefer it. Not surprising when you think who Arteta learnt the trade from. Didn't learn the cheating and time wasting, though. That's his own invention.

And deserves calling out on it far more than actually happens.

I felt little affection for Arteta when here, but the manner and circumstances of his departure were sneaky imo, and his win at all costs approach to their game, betrays a snidey trait and displays a level of desperation.

And for the above reasons I hope he fails again this season.
