Pep will probably never change the way we play, but if we play today with such a high defensive line, with our lack of confidence and poor form, at Anfield, a place that even on our best days we have failed to win, and with the excellent form they are in - it could end very badly for us.

We have to play lower today and try to play on counterattacks with the pace of Haaland, Doku and Savinho
 
The best way to get at the dippers is down the sides, Alexander Arnold and especially Robertson are there to be got at, Both nowhere near what they used to be as full backs.

Robertson is a snidey twat and aggressive in a tackle, Not quite sure if Savinho would be the man to put out wide against him? He needs toughening up.

I just want us to show a good account of ourselves and see signs of us getting back to the level we know we can.

They’ve already got their excuses at the ready with 6 players out. Apart from Jota I’ve never heard about the other 5. They must be shitting it playing us.

Sav will roast him, the issue is once he gets into the box he can’t cross or shoot!

Savinho could well roast him, As you said it's his end product that's the problem.

As we've seen from Savinho since he's joined he's made of glass, He doesn't like been tackled at all it seems, Robertson is definitely the type to leave one in on him, How Savinho reacts to that is another thing, Possibly ask for Air Ambulance knowing him.
 
If we do get beat today (which is quite probable), please let it happen fairly.
I'm sick of the media pointing their cameras at a perplexed Pep when another bent decision goes against us at that shithole.
It's become an almost annual event for the officials to purposely screw us, the media to laugh at us and then all red shirt fans taunt us.
I fuckin hate this fixture
 
it would be great to see a reversal of typical city today - and win a game everyone (for once) expects us to lose - its been nagging away in the back of my mind all morning - though its the hope that kills you at times

This guy (Mckola) has been SO bitter over the alst few seasons about anything we have achieved....biased, graceless fuckwit....
I hate the scousers but if they win it this season they will deserve it and the only glimmer of light is that they destroy another rag legacy
 
Akanji, Dias, Stones, Gvardiol, Ake - We need them all today. No Kyle, No Rico.
Nunes for legs. Jack for defensive contribution/control, Savinho for pace and energy. KDB for creativity. Haaland for goals. Ederson in goal. There you have it. That should be our 11 for today, IMO.
