I see a very broken team, ffs is that not obvious.

We are a shambles, all in the matter of 3 weeks
Teams still feared us early season and payed us respect accordingly, pretty much how teams used to fear going to old toilet , everyone has woke up and seen our deficiency’s in midfield especially, that mid week game was the icing on the cake as to what we have sadly become

I can only assume they are not fully fit. This is a worry in the case of Kev as he must be starting to get splinters.
If they're not fit enough for 45 mins when the club are in the shit then they shouldn't be on the bench in the first place. I personally think something has happened between Kev and Pep, but I'm attributing that to vibes more than anything.

Lost the lads...come on, that's fucking ridiculous, they'd run through walls for him.

What we have lost is the best player in the world and his replacement Kova.

It really is that simple.
far deeper than that

Its been all season tbh. Very very lucky to beat Brentford, Fulham and Wolves. Team was shot towards the end of last season, they all did miracles in winning the PL. Then you had the Euros and the team went into this season weaker after the transfer window, with aging injury prone players.
Be amazed if we turn this around this season and finish in the top 4 as just no goal threat, creativity or pace throughout the entire squad.
Needs heavy investment over a few years for a total squad rebuild

Fair play for Lewis to have that shot - bit hilarious he tried for outside the boot, but still fair play.

Szoboszli has the freedom of the park in front of our back line, and the outlet of Salah over the top, is stretching us at the back.

Said it a million times, but City have no size, strength or speed in the middle of the park and get passed through, around and just out run and hustled.

Wish I had an answer, but I honestly don’t think we have an answer with this group of players. We might be able to grab hold of the ball for periods of the game, but don’t appear to have too many ideas what to do with it. When they’re in the same position, we look shaky.

The only shot we had was Lewis’s scuffed, outside of the foot, effort. Was ANYONE thinking he would score from there? Compare that to if TAA, Robertson, MacAllister, Szoboszli, Gravenberch, Gakpo, Salah, or Luiz had been in the position and the gulf between the teams is on full view.

The other thing we have to be careful with is a hatful of (pathetic) yellow cards. Nunes, Foden and Akanji are all on the edge with only Foden’s a card, so we are only one broken pass or breakaway from being down to 10 men.

Looks like Grealish & Doku coming on, but we need to grab control of the middle of the park and have Walker & Ake shut off the outlet to their wingers.

Too many posters new to football, new to City. Used to watching City blowing teams away! It’s not always going to be that way.

It’s only 1-0 away to the team running away with the league. Still very much in the game with good options available from the bench.

City started getting back into the game the longer the half went on. I’m certainly not giving up on this game
