Support Pep

We've got a lot of injuries, Pep knows what to do, it's down to the players he has to implement it and for me there is simply no guile of desire there at the moment. Only they will know the reason why; some care, others are just going through the motions.

The recent decline is definitely down to poor forward thinking, whether or not Txiki knew his retirement was drawing nearer and stopped having the desire is anybody’s guess.

I would like to thank him for everything he’s allowed me to experience in football but it’s definitely time for a new man with desire to take the reins.

I wonder if we should have let Txiki go a few years ago rather than persuade him to stay. This is in no way meant to be disrespectful but i wonder if he'd had enough and thought it was time for a change. Maybe it was?

What, so he couldn't be arsed you mean ?

As a child in the 90’s watching us get beat by Stockport, Wimbledon, Bury etc… I never thought we would win the Premier League (the dream was to get back to the PL), I couldn’t even bring myself to dream about us winning the Champions league.

Pep has given us 6 PL titles and a champions league. For that I am eternally grateful.
No city fan I’ve spoken too wants him to go or as even insinuated it. I think the vast majority of fans are behind Pep.
But it feels a little bit like the old days and the gallows humour creeps in.

We’re not United fans wanting every manager gone after 2 seasons or the pathetic Arsenal fans who had Wenger out banners for about 6 seasons.
Pep will get players back from injury, get backed in January and the summer and we will be at it again next season. Unfortunately we may have to just sit tight until then and hope we get 40 points.

I think he must as involved as anyone in the day to day running of the club and I think we all reach a point, one day or another, when you just think I can’t really be assed with this any more.

That post treble winning summer sounds like it was a nightmare for him and he may have just been plugging some holes rather than planning for the future.

Hopefully Viana will want to come him and leave his mark on the club!

not sure its a conscious to "not be arsed anymore", i think it might be subconscious.
he himself my feel he's trying his best but not achieving his best.

love the bloke, hes pushed the players that hard their time has come to say goodbye these players and manager have created a history that was said to be near impossible to achieve 100 points, treble, four title on the bounce, the players have reached the top of the mountain and just cant meet the standards anymore, thank you, all the best, but time to reinvigorate the squad, we need that spark.
