Right back options

The back four, from right to left should be Akanji, Dias, Ake and Gvardiol, with Stones and Kovacic (when fit) in DM. Lewis is quick and tricky but he will have to put up with less game time as he will be competing with other more senior midfielders. As for incoming, we definitely need more cover at right back but I am sure Pep and Tiki have some ideas, I just hope players aren’t put off by the charges

Bang on BB. Or why not say "BOBB" - ahhh there is a sign! Oscar will come back and help us clinch a conference spot:)

Personally think a right back is just as important as a DM this January so many goals lost from here.
I honestly think we'll wait until the summer for a RB and persevere with Walker and anybody else we currently have. It is a top priority though, no doubt.

Whoever it is...

I prefer the profile of a fast defender who wins their duels (ground and aerial).

Our best defense is not when our fullback inverts, but when they stay back and defend.

Let one of the CBs invert into midfield.

Wouldn't mind Hakimi from PSG only has 18 months left on his contract. 26 year old, quick and has a decent footballing brain.

I reckon 45 - 55 million would turn his head.

Agree - originally I wanted a couple of midfielders (ideally) but now my ideal would be a midfielder and a right back. Just can’t see KW coming out of this spell which has been ongoing for some time but accelerated hugely this last month or so.

With recent allegations I can’t see us going near him.

Great player but had some CV already. Doesn’t seem to stay put at good clubs long.

I’d still offer a two-year contract to Semedo at Wolves. Think he might have played with Bernardo (same agent), Ederson, and Dias at Benfica, which would mean he would understand the players immediately around him, and having played at Benfica and Barcelona, he would be able to settle into our system. Has played in most games of late for Wolves, so would likely be fit and League ready, which would be a bonus. He’s on big wages at Wolves, apparently, who are in a state of flux and might be changing manager, so they may accept a deal now before his contract expires in the summer. Not the ultimate fix, true, but perhaps a logical solution to a very immediate problem.

He is abs terrible though! Close to awful for me, only slightly better than Emerson Royal who was the worst top level right back in the prem in a long time. Would not touch this guy with a barge pole.
