Kick off time 15:00 (GMT).

Ticky game, have we got a bit of a run in us, I think we'll find out here. One step at a time but back-to-back wins would be a great start.

Need to get Jack and Kev back in the middle again.

Same team again please.

Hopefully Akanji and Ake are good to play this weekend.
Pep didn’t sound to confident saying Manu in Turin maybe and Ake looks like hamstring.

If so we are back to square one. Stones a possibility I guess but by no means certain so it might have to be Walker in the middle and Lewis out wide unfortunately.

Leaves us very vulnerable again.

Just put a deep sea on 0-6.Liked Jack a lot more today.Lets reduce that gap boys.

It’s a shame that tonight may have come at a cost.

Akanji and Aké injured. De Bruyne looked knackered after 35 minutes and then again after 65 minutes, I’m not sure he’s got another start in him immediately and would you risk it even if he felt like he did?

So others need to step up. Walker, Lewis, Nunes may have to come in and do well on Saturday. But the platform has been laid and they’ve been shown what a proper performance looks like.

Palace are a physical side, they’re picking up points now. Will be tough, but if we play with the energy we had tonight, we should be okay.

Grealish must play in the middle again, he was fucking mustard!

Foden has Bronchitis, that isn’t an easy one to shake off. I’d be surprised to see him on Saturday. That’s bed rest and plenty of water, rather than running about on a football pitch in Croydon.

Nunes for him then. Bernardo on the right.

..................Ortega.................
Walker Dias Gvardiol Nunes
....Grealish Bernardo KDB.....
Savinho ....Haaland .....Doku

If we are short defenders, I'd play Nunes as LB.

I'd not start Gundogan or Lewis.

Two steps forward one step back. Were getting absolutely boned with injuries.

Dont have a back 4 again. Simpson pusey at lb? Safer there than cb. Play Dias and Gvardiol as cb.

Bernardo has played left back in emergencies.
Probably time to play Eddie as a sweeper with Stefan in goal - just need to make sure Eddie keeps his gloves in the changing room.

Palace are a big, physical side so I’d be tempted to play Simpson-Pusey rather than playing people out of position. I thought he was a bit unfairly scapegoated in the games he played, and will be more confident with Dias alongside him.
Simpson - Pusey is an option for Saturday, but Ruben needs to take care of Mateta.

We desperately need to try and field the same eleven in games just to get rhythm, but that is looking increasingly unlikely. Forest didn’t actually create much against us but because players are tired or working in unusual systems, we’re seeing top players drop bricks (Gundogan, de Bruyne, Bernardo) that better teams will invariably punish. A few games together in the same positions and system, and we’ll tighten.

I think he'd probably do better beside Ruben, too - a bit of vocal leadership can work wonders for an inexperienced player.
