Seat Counters - 2024/25

Yes, maybe there should be a familly membership, though think childrens membership is cheaper, From memory which may be off my sons when he was under 18 was £20.
Cheers mate I don't really know much about membership apart from seeing price quoted on here a few times..
Hope you can get to a few more games too..they need to lower the bloody ticket prices though

All the bullshit labels we get like Emptihad etc is because nobody at City has ever thought empty seats in the South Stand in full view of tv cameras was worth addressing.

There are 100 reasons why selling cheap kids season tickets behind the goal might be empty for midweek games - but ffs City sort it.

I know this wasn’t the case last night but can never get my head around why for some games the away team returns the top tier in the north stand which is then full of blues, yet there is a group on 20 empty seats behind the goal in full view of the tv cameras.

Last night somebody should have sole responsibility to make sure those blocks are full.
I agree with this. I would take the family stand element away completely, in the modern era of sanitised stadiums I don’t see the need for it. I would make NSL1 safe standing, it would help with the aesthetics no end in my opinion. If people currently in there don’t want to stand, I would facilitate their move to another area of the stadium at no additional cost to themselves.

According to transfermarket which is a reliable website, our average attendance is 46k this srason
Is this correct?
A 7k drop off on recent years

FYI, transfermarkt is in no way reliable and is a laughing stock with their "valuations" too.

They claim the average attendance of PL games is 46k. Then you go and check their listed attendances for each game and they're all 55k.

I’m not saying you don’t occasionally have to make decisions for the greater good that are going to inconvenience people.

There’s plenty of people on tier 2 in particular that have been forced to move over the years.

But there’s an awful lot of people in the North Stand level 1, who’ve been in the same seats since day one, who would be mightily pissed off if they had to move.

That’s not to say it automatically makes it the wrong decision. But even though it’s the Family Stand, there’s a lot of older fans in there. Some of which I’m not sure would bother relocating at all.

As a S/T holder looking in, it seems pointless chucking £35 on membership as reading on here lots missed out on the big games again this season.

Surely, it's better to get a free supporters number if a newbie or just not renew and keep your number then just pick up tickets from trusted sites, here etc. certainly on BM most tickets end up getting moved on for under face value even the ones for big games.

When the time comes to electronically cut my card up I'll be picking up the odd game off here, seems a no-brainer to me.

It’s the first time that Brentford tickets have dropped this low. A mate got one on 25k points today. Midweek in January and most of the top pointers having already ticked it off. I think this is the ‘no points for away tickets’ eventually working.

Blame the fucking fixture list!

All those 2 week breaks with no games then a glut of games in the middle of fucking winter.

Football is fooked, you can go a month without a home game and then have 3 in 7 days!

All for the sake of free loading International football shite.

There’s absolutely no chance we’ve had an average of 7,000 empty seats this season. Tonight I could maybe believe it and maybe even more at Feyenoord.

Looking forward though it’s hard not to fear the worst about midweek matches at this time if the year when we have 8,000 more seats to sell and the club have decided NOT to sell season tickets!

Unless they’re prepared to do something radical with individual ticket prices then these matches will become a bit of an embarrassment.
It’s absolutely mental that decision from the club. I know lads who were excited at getting the chance to come back to getting a season ticket if they could afford it in the new stand, expecting it was going to be priced competitively like SSL3 was.

1724 because the Barca fans and tourists don't fancy a midweek match at Brentford ;)
Interestingly enough, I thought brentford was one of the worst for tourists last year, and that was a weekday game.

You always get more tourists at the London games and with it being a smaller allocation a larger percentage seem to be siphoned away from points.

It absolutely was as I was there. It was at least 20% tourists.
